These dates will be announced in advance. Students will be required to attend all performances, including "sing-outs".

Evaluation and Grading:

Since the total musical experience depends on working and building together, attendance at all rehearsals and performances is expected. Attendance will be taken weekly. One absence for any reason is allowed without penalty. If you are going to be absent, you must contact your section leader prior to the rehearsal. Written proof for all excused absences must be submitted to the director at the next rehearsal following the absence. Failure to do so will result in an unexcused absence. Three tardies result in an unexcused absence.

Attendance at all dress rehearsals and performances is required. Failure to do so will result in a failing grade. Music must be returned to the director or librarian before a grade can be given.

Grading Scale:

A -- 1 absence or less (3 tardies=1 absence)
B -- 2 absences
C -- 3 absences
D -- 4 absences
F -- 5 or more absences OR failure to attend a concert, sing-out OR dress rehearsal
